Furnish and deliver six (6) sets of spillway gate chains and side seal assemblies for Old Hickory Power Plant and Dam, Old Hickory, Tennessee in accordance with drawings and specifications which will be furnished in the Invitation for Bid (IFB) package. Each set of spillway gate chains consists of two (2) 61-foot sections of links (side bars) and pins. Each side seal assembly consists of rubber side seals and accessories including seal support angles, clamp bars, gaskets, and fasteners. The chain sections and side seal assemblies will be used to replace existing components on the six (6) existing 128,500 lb., 45 ft x 41 ft radial spillway gates. IFB packages will be available on or about 18 February 2000. Bids are to be submitted by 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 10 March 2000. Award will be made on or about 13 March 2000 with expected delivery date on or about 15 September 2000. This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3568. Size Standard for Small Business is to employ 500 or less employees.
