This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/GODDARD SPACE FLIGHT CENTER intends to purchase Agilent Technologies (Hewlett Packard) millimeter-wave controller, interface cables and rack hardware to interface Oleson frequency extension modules to an existing vector network analyzer (VNA). The existing government owned VNA is a Hewlett Packard HP8510C with frequency capabilities to 20 GHZ. The unit is being upgraded by the Oleson modules which will allow measurements up to 220 GHZ. The following, specific make and model, parts from Agilent Technologies (Hewlett Packard) are needed to accomplish the upgrade: (one each) Millimeter-Wave Controller-Hewlett Packard Part-85105A Option K10 Cable Kit- Hewlett Packard Part-85105A Option K12 System Rack -- Hewlett Packard Part-85043C Technical Assistance and Installation are required (quote rate + number of hours) The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-15. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to Goddard Space Flight Center is required within 10 weeks ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DXA7.
