The United States Special Operations Command intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Marine Electronic Solutions, Inc. for 14 Site Licenses for Worldwide Chart Collection used in the Transas NaviSailor System on the MK V SOC Craft. This is a sole source commercial item being conducted in accordance with FAR 13. The request for quotation is currently available and can be requested by facsimile (813) 828-7504. Telephonic requests for the request for quotation will not be accepted. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all proposals received by 17 February 2000 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is 18 February 2000.
