The specific line items are steel towers, erection and shop drawings for self-supporting or guyed lattice tower and extensions, tubular steel structures, formed tubular steel, dulling surface treatment and shop assembly. The estimated annual quantity and delivery for each item is as follows: steel towers-132,000 pounds/between 30 and 90 days after receipt of order (ARO) depending on the weight; drawings-6 each/90 days ARO; tubular steel structures-110,000 pounds/between 45 and 60 days ARO depending on the weight; formed tubular steel-80,000 pounds/80 days ARO; dulling surface treatment-20,000 pounds/increases delivery by 15 days; shop assembly-100,000 pounds/increases delivery by 15 days. The delivery will be FOB Destination to any Western Area Power Administration site. Western Area Power Administrationestimates that 40 percent of the material will be required at facilities in North Dakota and South Dakota. Other primary delivery locations include: Billings, Montana; Casper, Wyoming; Montrose, Colorado; Phoenix, Arizona; Redding, California; and Haslet, Texas. The period of performance shall be for one base year with two one-year options. The anticipated solicitation issuance and award dates are 2/16/00 and 4/4/00 respectively.
