The South Dakota Army National Guard (SDARNG) has a requirement for contractor served, cafeteria style meals. Contractor shall provide all-you-can-eat quantities for all meal items except the meat entr e (portion size of meat entr e shall be stated within the solicitation). There will be field feeding requirements during this contract. Contractor shall provide all subsistence, supplies, and labor for commercial meals. This shall be a "turnkey" operation where the Government will provide certain property under accountability. Balance of equipment to be provided by the Contractor. Government facility to be utilized is the Custer Hall (Bldg T-274) at the Regional Training Institute, Ft. Meade, SD, (which is in close proximity to Sturgis, SD). Contractor to provide pricing for a morning, noon, and evening meal. The meals will be required during the approximate time frame of 17 June to 30 Jul 00. The awardee shall meet all requirements of a food preparation/serving business within the State of South Dakota.No award shall be made unless the Contracting Officer makes an affirmative determination of responsibility for the potential contractor. All interested parties are strongly encouraged to participate in the site visit, tentatively scheduled to occur about 28 Mar 00. This acquisition shall be 100% small business set aside. For SIC 5812, Eating Places, the small business size standard is $5.0M, except Institutional Food Service which is $15.0.
