McNeley, Contracting Officer PROCUREMENT NOTICE REPAIR BY REPLACEMENT MICHELSON LABORATORY COMPUTER WING AIR CONDITIONING CHILLER AT THE NAVAL AIR WEAPONS STATION, CHINA LAKE, CA The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision required to replace the 136 ton centrifugal chiller that operates using Class 1 Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS's). The 136 ton chiller represents one half the primary chilled water generation equipment that supports the Computer Wing air conditioning system within Michelson laboratory. The project replaces the primary Michelson Laboratory chilled water pumps (2each 2880 GPM/200 HP); increases the size of the chilled water distribution piping to the computer wing (250 ft of new 6" pipe); replaces two chillers (150 and 225 ton chillers with a new 160 ton chiller; and replaces a 480 GPM cooling tower, and all related work, complete and ready for use including cleanup.
