synopsis is issued for informational and planning purposes only. The
Air Mobility Command (AMC) is conducting market research to identify
potential contractors with the background, knowledge, and experience to
support the Defensive Systems and Aircraft Survivability Integrated
Product Team, to identify Electronic Warfare (EW) shortfalls and
possible solutions, to provide technical and operational expertise for
transport aircraft vulnerability studies, to perform risk assessments
for transport aircraft in infrared threat environments, and to support
AMC EW roadmap efforts. The contractor will be required to provide
computer hardware and software to perform threat analysis modeling and
simulation. Contractor personnel possessing a Top Secret clearance
will be required to meet the minimum needs of this project. Request
interested offerors capable of performing this effort submit a
capability statement no later than 27 January 2000. Information
submitted in the capability statement should include company name,
address, telephone number, point of contact, business size and general
description of the company and services provided. Interested parties
should submit information to demonstrate their capability to perform
the requirement described above. This information should include a list
of your company's most recent and relevant contracts for providing
similar services to include contract number, place of performance,
customer point of contact, telephone number, contract type, amount of
award, and period of performance. Please include a very brief
description of the services required and whether performance was
considered acceptable or an explanation for performance problems noted.
Be sure to identify any existing federal supply schedules such as
through the General Services Administration or other existing
government contracts that may be used to obtain such services along
with ordering information. Page limit for the capability statements is
25 pages. All data must be submitted electronically to the point of
contact specified below. This request for information is not a

information submitted or for any costs associated with providing this
