(This is a combined synopsis/solicitation) Request for quotation for custom bar equipment, booths, and shelving for the Eielson enlisted club to include both product and installation of product. (See attachments for item descriptions, designs, layouts, and other relevant drawings. If unable to open the documents electronically contact the stated POCs for assistance or to receive a hard copy via CD) Requirements for award: 1. Award will be base on best value to the Government. Evaluation factors in order of preference are past performance, meeting the time requirements, and price. 2. Set aside for small business. 3. Open to all small business, but must be able to manufacture the products locally in Oahu, Hawaii for the purposes of product inspection by the requesting activity. 4. Government must be allowed to inspect the products at 40% & 80% completion to ensure quality and timeliness of production to ensure the time frame is met. 5. Contractor must be able to install the finished product at Eielson AFB, Alaska. 6. Contractor must be able to finish (not install, but complete and ready to ship) the requested products by 10 March 00. 7. Contractor must also be able to install the finished product promptly after stated items are received at the final location, (toward the end of March or that following month.) The contractor is responsible for all hardware, production, packing, and installation cost to be included in the total price of their quote. The costs shall be separately identified. The contractor is also responsible for packaging and shipping of completed items to the FOB point -- Hickam AFB, Hawaii, for further transportation by the government to the final destination. The contractor is not responsible for installing any electrical, plumbing, or any other equipment shown in the drawings or plans that are not requested in the item descriptions. The government will be responsible for inspection of product and shipping of completed product from Hickam AFB to the final destination at Eielson AFB, Alaska, for installation by the contractor. The government will also make base lodging and all ground transportation necessary for installation available to the contractor.
