Unit of issue is EACH., PREDOMINANT MATERIAL is body AMS 5662 Nickel Alloy, Tube AMS 5589 Nickel Alloy. FUNCTION: These links connect the augmentor nozzle lever to the convergent segment link towers to the augmentor nozzle bellcrank levers. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources in accordance with I-70 of the solicitation. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. Government furnished drawings are not available. Approved sources are United Technologies Corp, Pratt & Whitney Aircarft Group, West Palm Beach FL. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel.
