Wilson, Contracting Officer (302) 633-5371 Services will involve design through construction period services for the project which is to renovate the west half of the fourth floor in order to provide updated patient care quarters according to new criteria. Work shall include provision of all labor, materials, equipment, tools and other items necessary to provide design and Industrial Hygiene services for a complete interior renovation. All utility systems will be demolished and rebuilt into the new construction as well as all interior partitions and other features which are existing that are not of a structural nature. The building subsystems will include electrical lights and a system of conduits for telephone as well as system of conduits to connect the computer system; new heating and cooling system, fire detection system, sprinkler system, modular kitchen unit, nurse call, and building energy management as well as other standard architectural interior finishes. The construction range for this project is between $500,000 to $1,000,000. This is not a request for proposals. Interested firms must submit an SF 254 and 255 by COB February 5, 2000 to the Contracting Officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs, 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, Delaware 19805.
