This is an Emergency Watershed Protection project on DSR No. O-2, Rocky Ford Diversion Dam. Work consists of structure removal, removal of water, installation of approximately 1,455 tons of rock riprap, metal fabrication and installation and approximately 1,092 board feet of timber fabrication and installation. It is anticipated that the notice to proceed with work will be issued by February 8, 2000. All work MUST be completed no later than March 15, 2000. Maximum workweek will be 12 hours per day, Monday through Saturday. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid security in the amount of 20% of the bid is required. Performance and payment bonds of 100% and 50% respectively will be required within three days of contract award. USDA participates in the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program; therefore competition for this project is unrestricted and is not set aside for small business concerns.
