Provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision required to replace berthing room air conditioning units in a total of 16 rooms. The work will be performed in four phases with each phase involving four rooms. The work involved for each phase shall include: Removal of two dual zone outdoor condensing units with associated indoor air handling units, refrigerant and condensate piping, electrical wiring and raceways. Access will be allowed in only two rooms at a time for complete rehab which will include removal of ceiling material, installation of soffits and pipe chase, painting, installation of two (2) indoor units, two (2) outdoor condensing units (single zone one set for each room), installation of condensate piping and power and control wiring. Removal of sprayed on acoustical ceiling finish and painting of exposed concrete ceilings will be included as a unit bid item which may or may not be awarded.
