The bridge painting project consists of three dam control tower service bridges and one highway bridge. The service bridges are located at Nolin Lake, Taylorsville Lake and C.J. Brown Lake. The highway bridge is located in the tailwater of Caesar Creek Lake. The work involves removing, containing and disposing of the lead containing paint on the bridge structural steel and appurtenances. This includes bridge pivot points, conduit and any other accessories attached to the bridge that are currently painted. The bridge is to be painted with a high quality paint system designed for ferrous metals exposed to a harsh atmosphere. Special attention should be given to the safety and environmental issues associated with performing the work outlined above at heights up to 100' above a fresh water reservoir. The SIC Code is 1721. Estimated value of the project is $250,000.00-$500,000.00. THIS IS NOT A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.
