Bauman, Jr. 301-619-2369 This is a multi-trade contract for construction at Fort Detrick, Maryland . Under this procurement, the contractor shall furnish all labor, plant, equipment, materials and supervision, and all other necessary items to complete assigned work in complete compliance with all plans, drawings and specifications. Work will be issued by individual delivery orders with scope of work and price negotiated between the parties with the Government having the option to issue unilateral delivery orders. Common trades which may be needed include: laborers, carpentry, electrical, heating, refrigeration and air-conditioning mechanics, masons, millwright, pipefitters, plumbers, sheet metal workers and welder combination as identified in the Davis-Bacon Wage Determination. Solicitation DAMD17-00-B-0001 will be issued on or about 7 January 2000 and open on or about 8 February 2000. All Federal Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The Standard Industrial Code for this requirement is 1711 with the size standard of $7.0 .M in average annual receipts. Period of performance under any resultant contract award will be one (1) year.
