US Customs Service has a requirement for non-GSA on-line information retrieval services for the U.S. Customs Service Information Resource Center. The SIC code is 7375 and the annual receipts are $18.5 million per year. This requirement will be procured persuant to FAR.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, FAR 13.106, and FAR 12.6. This will be a full and open competition. The information offered must meet the specialized data information required by the Information Center for research and analysis. The service must be available on a national level, must be cost effective, current, reliable and complete. A written solicitation will be made available upon request. The proposals submitted must clearly define the databases offered and described the advantages of the system offered. Award will be made on the basis of best value to the government with technical requirements, past performance, and pricing considered as per FAR 13.106.
