D-Information Technology Services, including telecommunication services The government intends to purchase on a sole source basis the following items manufactured and provided only by TLDworks, Inc. of Torrance, California: (1) On-call maintenance support for Sparc/SunOS, TLD ADA Compiler System in accordance with the manufacturer's software and maintenance support agreements for the period 10 January 2000 through 09 January 2001 for license number U96046. (2) On-call maintenance support for Sun solaris TLD ADA Compiler System in accordance with the manufacturer's software and maintenance support agreements for the period 10 January 2000 through 09 January 2001 (1 year). (3) On-call maintenance support for ADA Compiler System Binary for license number T98009 for period 10 January 2000 through 09 January 2001 (1 year). This will provide the government with on-call vendor support during activation of the Firmware Facility at NSWCDD. The ADA compiler must be compatible with the Sun's most current operating system, Solaris and SUN-OS System. Lockheed-Martin in Moorestown, NJ has been using Unix based Sun workstations and ADA language compiler system purchased from TLDworks, Inc., to develop and maintain firmware programs currently associated with the Aegis AN/SPY-1 radar system. These ADA compilers must be completely compatible with those being utilized by Lockheed-Martin. To ensure full compatibility with the currently deployed AN/SPY-1 radar firmware programs and allow the Government to fully meet its firmware maintenance support objectives, it is vital that the Government procure and use the same ADA Compiler System from TLDworks, Inc. that Lockheed-Martin is currently using to develop those programs. The contractor shall provide their maintenance support agreements with their quote. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures on an all or none basis.
