Redbird Ranger Station on the Daniel Boone National Forest in Clay
County, Kentucky. This project consists of construction a 40 feet wide
x 150 feet long x 17 feet (eave height) rigid frame metal building,
complete with all utilities, on a concrete slab foundation with a
concrete apron, and asphalt surfaced access road and parking area. The
work will consist of 1) All rough and finish site work for the
building and road; 2) Pouring of a concrete foundation, slab and
aprons; 3) Erection of a rigid frame metal building, including all
exterior and interior details; 4) Installation of all utilities, and 5)
Construction of an asphalt paved access road and parking area. The
building will contain offices, bathrooms, workshops, storage areas, and
vehicle bays. Interior work will include all room partitions, both stud
and concrete block, all ceilings, cabinetry and miscellaneous
accessories as shown on the drawings. Utility construction will consist
of connecting buildingutilities to existing or new exterior telephone,
electrical, gas, water, and sewer systems. The sewer system will be
part new construction and will consist of connecting the building
sewage lines to a new sewage lift station (constructed as part of this
project) and then connecting the lift station to an existing sewage
disposal field adjacent to the building. The access road is
approximately 0.18 mile in length and will have an asphalt surface as
will the 17 vehicle parking area along the front of the building. This
project has a cost estimate between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Posted
