C -- GROUNDWATER MONITORING SOL RFP-2000-004 POC Albert Chan (415) 561-5428 Request for Proposals: The Presidio Trust is soliciting proposals from qualified environmental consulting firms to conduct quarterly groundwater monitoring at environmental restoration sites throughout the Presidio of San Francisco, CA, which is a National Historic Landmark in a national park setting. Prior monitoring and reporting of groundwater conditions at these sites has been performed by consultants for the U.S. Army. The monitoring requirements, sampling procedures, analytical requirements, reporting procedures, and site conditions are all outlined in previous documents prepared by this consultant. The requirements for groundwater monitoring are outlined in various decision documents and regulatory agency orders. This documentation is available for interested consultants to review at the Trust Library. Proposals will be evaluated based upon criteria set forth in the Request For Proposals (RFP), including but not limited to: specialized experience with projects of similar scope, proven successfulability to analyze and interpret large volumes of groundwater data, and cost.
