The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armament Command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC) is seeking sources for man- portable shoulder launched munitions and systems. The Government is considering preliminary Test and Evaluation of man-portable shoulder launched munitions and systems capable of defeating multiple targets. This preliminary test would include live fire of up to five different systems, with approximately ten to twenty munitions of each being evaluated. The desired systems would include a single munition or a family of munitions with a disposable or re-useable launcher. It would provide for defeat of any combination of targets to include earth and timber bunkers, triple brick walls, reinforced concrete walls, advanced light armor, area targets, urban structures, and personnel in the open or in protected positions. Desired characteristics also include the capability to man fire the system from within enclosures. In response to this market survey, interested parties shall provide a description of system capabilities, availability and cost (if any) for delivery of test items within six months, test data and photo depictions of performance against each of the targets including other targets or capabilities not mentioned above, size and weight characteristics, system maturity with respect to safety qualification, current production status, and current users (if any).
