This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial off-the-shelf Table,Folding Legs. The U.S. Army Materiel Command, Contracting Division, Natick, MA intends to purchase 120 Table, Folding Legs. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotations may be in the vendor's format, but must address all requirements herein. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3499 with a size standard of 500 employees,FSC: 7105, NSN: 7105-01-333-8493. Drawing P/N 5-13-4242 for the Table, Folding Legs will be posted on the Natick, Acquisition web site: http://www3.natick.army.mil, under DAAD15-00-Q-0001(for interface and reference purposes only). The general characteristics and item description are as follows: Table, Folding Legs,this a commercial item description (CID) general purpose aluminum table with folding legs (positive acting lockingdevices) for use as a working and dining tables (72" long x 36" wide x 29" high with maximum weight of 48lbs.) for use in a field environment. The table in its fully opened mode, shall support a uniformly distributed static load of 1600lbs., without collapsing or exhibiting permanent deformation. The table shall be capable of withstanding extreme weather conditions, e.g.,-25 deg. F to 120 deg. F without exhibiting evidence of corrosion. The table shall have a fade, chip and scratch resistant finish, e.g., epoxy polyester powder coated finish. Packaging and Marking shall be Commercial Packaging IAW 3951-95, unit package quantity shall be 001. The last purchase for this item was 4 August 1999 for a unit price of $195.03 each. This is a 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. All deliveries of the 120 Table, Folding Legs shall be F.O.B. Destination with sixty (60) shipped to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 and sixty (60) shipped to Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. Delivery of CLIN 0001AA shall be 60 days after awardof the purchase order. This acquisition will be solicited and awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis. In order to be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry, http://edi.disa.mil/. This RFQ incorporates clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The Government intends to award to the vendor who offers the lowest price and meets the Government's delivery requirements. The FAR provision a 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation, as do the following clauses: 51.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-4002, 52.243-1. The following DFARs clauses apply: 252.204-7004, 252.232-7009.
