99 -- REMOVAL OF CHEMICAL AND BIO-SAFETY HOODS SOL N3239800RC8N001 DUE 120899 POC Sharon Steiner, Contracting Officer The Naval Medical Research Center has a requirement for the removal of 26 chemical and 35 bio-safety hoods. Chemical hoods: verify all power to chemical hoods are de-energized; remove all wiring; remove all conduit back to panel; secure all other sources and cap or plug as needed; install cap on exhaust ductwork and seal with silicone caulk; remove hoods from existing building and deliver to DRMO @ Ft. Meade, MD. Bio-safety hoods: de-energize electrical circuit; remove hoods and transport to Ft. Meade for disposal. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by NNMC via fax to Sharon Steiner at 301-295-0286 no later than 4:00pm 08 DEC 99. Telephone requests will not be honored.
