Asia-Pacific Center requires lodging for personnel attending classes at the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS) in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 7011 and the business size is $5 million. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is V231. The estimated quantity of room days will be 75 rooms for 84 days at three (3) times per year. The lodging facility shall be located within the Waikiki area as defined by the Ala Wai Canal and Kapahula Avenue. A map of the exact location will be provided in the solicitation. The minimum size of each room is 500 square feet. The units must be free of infestation and consist of a minimum of a bedroom, living area, kitchen area, and bathroom. The period of performance includes a base year of twelve (12) months, from 01 August 2000 through 31 July 2001, and two (2) 12-month option periods. This requirement is unrestricted and will be solicited using commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
