The contractor shall be tasked to accomplish similar types of services as follows: design, develop and/or modify plans, test procedures, feasibility studies, plan schedules, procure and/or manufacture material and components and provide the onsite support necessary to accomplish various alterations, repairs, and improvements primarily to Deep Submergence Vehicles (DSVs), Advanced Tethered Vehicles (ATVs), Advanced SEAL Delivery systems (ASDS), rescue vehicles, submarines, surface vessels and naval equipment and facilities. The proposed contract shall be awarded as a cost plus fixed fee, indefinite delivery type contract for a period of one base year plus four option years with 24,100 total estimated hours per year. Of the total estimated hours, 3,400 hours are estimated for services in conjuction with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements. Various labor categories include, but are not limited to, Naval Architects, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical/Electronics Engineers, Quality Assurance Specialist, Engineering Technicians, Draftsperson, Sr. Logistician.
