Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a delivery order under BOA N00019-98-G-0037 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC) for integration of Advance Mission Computer and Displays into F/A-18 E/F Aircraft. This order will cover non-recurring efforts, which will include; updating production drawings, development of mounting hardware, and defining new equipment required for integration. MDC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Boeing, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, M0 63166-0516. MDC, the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the F/A-18E/F aircraft, is the only known firm possessing the adequate existing technical knowledge, facilities, tooling, and special test equipment to perform this requirement in a timely manner.
