The project involves the removal and disposal of existing interior and exterior doors hardware and frames and the installation of new doors, hardware and frames. Several door and frame assemblies require fire ratings. The work also includes the removal of interior glazing and frames and the installation of new wire glass and frames. Also, included is the installation of spray-on fireproofing, fire rated walls and a sprinkler system in a mechanical room, removal and disposal of existing air handling and distribution system and install a new heating and air conditioning system for a classroom building. The new system will be a split system with condensing units on the roof. Estimated time for constructio is approximately 250 calendar days to substantial completion. Estimated construction cost range is from $500,000 to $1,000,000.
