69 -- TRAINING AIDS AND DEVICES SOL DCA100-00-R-4004 DUE 122299 POC Contract Specialist, Debra Albrecht, 703-607-6865 The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) seeks sources for High Tech Professional Seminar Series videotapes. It is imperative that DISA's technical personnel keep abreast of the most current training available. In order to meet this need, the contractor will provide videotapes of current seminars, technical lectures, analysis and advice, and industry forums distributed to DISA's Information Systems (IS) professionals. These programs shall be produced monthly, from 6-8 in number, one to two hours in length, and accompanied by a written packet detailing, at a minimum, the following: audience, background, program and presenter. Specific subjects shall cover the spectrum of the IS community, i.e. Client-Server Development, Open Systems, Distributed Computing, Object Orientation, Technology Management and Object and Database Management, etc. The contractor shall identify and develop specific programs that will provide the latest data to all levels of IS professionals in the DISA workforce: Senior Executives; Project Leaders; and Programmers, Analysts, Engineers, and Operations professionals. Top industry experts shall be used in the presentations. A minimum of six (6) programs shall be developed each month and are to be distributed world-wide, to various DISA locations. Identified programs shall be exact copies of live programs, as presented via satellite, during the month. Visual and sound quality shall be of the highest order and contain no discrepancies. Each videotape program shall be accompanied by a workbook detailing the following: Audience; Background (topic overview); Program-specific outline of program content, with goals and highlights of each content area; and Presenter. Vidoetapes of recorded programs shall be shipped by the end of each month to 10 DISA work sites. All responsible sources may submit a qualification statement which shall be considered. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of the submission of contractors information. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly identified.
