Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code applicable for this solicitation is 1711. Awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). All responsible sources may submit a bid. Contractors will be required to furnish all plant, equipment, materials, labor, material, equipment, supplies, services, and transportation required to accomplish repair building 600 HVAC system. The work will include, but not necessarily limited to the construction of an addition to the outside mechanical yard, installation of two new chillers, replacement of some interior ductwork, testing and balancing of system and demolition of existing chiller. The magnitude for this requirement is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 9 Dec 99. A site visit is scheduled for 17 Dec 99 at 9:00 A.M. local time.
