Description: A certified A-Jacks System contractor shall perform all work under this project and will be performed in conjunction with Government personnel (Navy Public Works Center). The work includes repair of erosion along three hundred feet of running shoreline as follows: Clean the bank of vegetation and haul to disposal site, digging a small toe ditch at bottom of slope approximately one foot deep, three hundred-foot long; and placing a layer of Geotextile in toe ditch running up bank two feet, to prevent the removal of fine soil. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision and equipment required to construct a three hundred-foot shoreline stabilization project consisting of fill, eotexile material and A-Jacks structures. The project will extend a maximum of three-foot waterward of the existing mean high water (MHW) line. Contractor shall accept full responsibility for failure to comply with all drawings and conditions that may constitute grounds for revocation of permit and appropriate enforcement action by the State of Florida Department Of Environmental Protection.
