The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Services of Foreign Military Sales (FMS)F404-GE-402 Engine and Modules, for the period of April 1, 2000 through March 31, 2001 with an option period of April 1, 2001 through March 31, 2002. The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE), located at 1000 Western Avenue, Lynn, MA 01910-0445. No hardware will be required, although the contractor will provide supplies necessary to perform the requirement. GEAE is the original Manufacturer, and only known source possessing the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data required to provide the F404-GE-402 FMS ILS services. See Note 22.
