QTY; 40 EA. CLIN 0002: NSN 5998-01-133-1931NT; P/N 166617-01-01; NOUN: A3 CARD; APPL; C141/C-5 ACFT. QTY; 11 EA. FUNCTION; The A2 and A3 cards together serve as the processor for the C-141/C-5 FSC. These digital circuit cards execute the flight software and control the operation of the FSC. The FSC (Fuel savings computer) interacts with many different aircraft subsystems.
