Will all delivery orders have a fixed amount of Material Pool Dollars added or will it only be on selected orders? If a roof-top HVAC unit is not up to code, will we be required to replace the unit? A1. CLIN 0001AW will be used on a case-by case basis (selected delivery orders) and will be used to correct deficiencies to roof top equipment and systems that are not incidental to the roofing process, but must be accomplished to complete the project. Examples Include: replacement of a corroded conduit or grounding clamp for a lightning rod; minor repair of deteriorated air ducts, etc. Q2. Is CLIN item 0001BA and 0001BB intended to be used to replace shrubs and plants that need to be removed to access work areas or a vehicle to replace dead foliage? A2. CLIN item 0001BA and 0001BB will be used to replace existing shrubs and plants with new plants and shrubs that were removed to perform the work. Q3. In some CLINs the word "install" is used; does this mean to furnish and install? A3. All references to install, furnish, provide etc. shall be interpreted as providing all material, labor, equipment, transporation etc. required for a complete and useable end product. Q4. Specification section 01000, page 5, paragraph 1.11 C states: Transport unusable items to the base landfill; 01000, page 7, paragraph 1.16 states: Transport unusable items and trash off base. Do we use the base landfill or must all unusable and trash items be transported to a municipal dump? A4. Refer to specification section 01000, page 7, paragraph 1.16. Q5. Is it the intent of specification section 02075, page 20, paragraph 3.21 to have a Certified Industrial Hygenist (CIH) on site at all times during the abatement process? A5. Specification section 02075, page 20, paragraph 3.22 states: Dispose of non-friable asbestos off Government property. CLIN item 0018 states: Dispose of asbestos at Vandenberg AFB landfill. Refer to contract Bid Schedule and specifications. Q18. If a company has an office in area 9, can a company with an office in the area, but who's main office is in another area submit a proposal? A18. Yes, from SBA in Los Angeles. Q19. Will sub-contracting be allowed or will you only be bidding on what you are going to roof or what you want to roof? A19.
