NSN 7R-5841-01-380-0244-XH, Ref Nr 6971100-7, Qty 1 EA, Delivery FOB Origin -- The Naval Inventory Control Point Philadelphia will be soliciting a proposal for a commercialized type of weapons systems support for the SH-60B aircraft avionics previously manufactured and currently repaired by the OEM, Lockheed Martin Federal Systems Owego. Proposals should be modeled after a currently established method of support known as DVD (Direct Vendor Delivery) however modified to incorporate the military aspects of the items covered under this type of support. The scope of effort includes, at a minimum the following types of effort: 1) Repair or replacement of all components (repairable and consumables), 2) Storage and immediate issuance of all Government owned spares inventories for this system to meet availability and fill rate goals. 3) Resolution of occurances for parts obsolesence and diminishing manufacturing sources. The resultant contract will be a requirements contract consisting of five base years with an option period of five years.
