Johnson Chairperson of Mine Warfare, Undersea Warfare Academic Group at Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA. The contractor shall act as the liaison for mine warfare related issues at Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA. The contractor shall possess experience and expertise in the art, practice and technologies of U.S. mine warfare, mining and mine countermeasures. The contractor shall be responsible for delivering lectures, assisting faculty and students on research projects, and shall develop an extensive library of research studies and reports relative to mine warfare through interaction with numerous outside sources. Period of performance for this service will be 10 January 2000 through 09 January 2001 with two one-year options. The SIC is 8299 (Schools and Educational Services, N. E. C.), Small Business Size Standard is $5 MIL. Period of performance will be 10 Jan 00 through 09 Jan 01 with two (2) one-year option periods. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price best value contract. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside per FAR 52.219-6.
