S -- PICK-UP AND DISPOSAL OF WASTE MATERIAL (RUBBISH) SOL 263-00-B(GQ)-0004 DUE 010500 POC Dorothy Nickens, (301) 496-0301 The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Gerontology Research Center (GRC), Baltimore, Maryland requires a Contractor to provide refuse services. The Contractor shall furnish a thirty- (30) cubic yards refuse container under a rental agreement. The Contractor shall pick-up the refuse container, disposal of the refuse at a certified landfill and returns the refuse container back to the GRC. The compactor shall be capable of holding the refuse and rubbish without leakage, shall be capable of sealing tightly while loading, equipped with guide rails which shall allow uniform placement of the compactor after dumping. The period of performance will be for a basic twelve- (12) month contract period with options to renew for four (4) successive twelve-month periods. Concerns that respond to this synopsis shall furnish concise responses directed specifically to the requirements mentioned above and are invited to submit capability statements in an original plus two (2) copies not later than forty-five (45) business days from the date of this announcement. Sources demonstrating the capability to accomplish the above shall supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate their ability to perform.
