SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. -- The Marine Corps Systems Command
(MARCORSYSCOM), Ground Weapons Directorate (CBG) has a requirement for
comprehensive engineering, logistics, acquisition support, and
technical analysis services to support the development, production, and
fielding of Marine Corps weapons systems and ancillary support
equipment. Support service requirements will involve a variety of
engineering disciplines, analytical assessments, acquisition logistics,
test and evaluation support, cost performance analysis, and general
business functions related to effective program management. Key
performance areas include support for firepower and anti-armor
programs; design enhancements for the M1A1 tank and Amphibious Assault
Vehicle; development and improvements to infantry weapons systems;
support for non-lethal weapons systems; optical and laser targeting
systems; management of ammunition programs; engineering and analytical
support for the Lightweight 155 Howitzer; and test support for
developmental and post-deployment systems. Additional support in the
areas of formal DoD 5000 acquisition, joint program management, and
business analysis are also required. Industry firms capable of
accomplishing the required services, in whole or in part, are invited
to submit an affirmative response to this notice. Firms should include
literature, brochures, and capabilities summaries directly addressing
their ability to meet the aforementioned needs. Interested firms are
