This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number RFQ -- OCTO-WS001 is issued as a Request for Quotation, under simplified acquisition procedures, test program, unrestricted. The SIC code is 4812 and the small business size standard is 1,500 employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which, if timely received, shall be considered by the Office of the Chief Technology Officer ("Government"). The contractor shall provide the equipment, including service, for the Government of the District of Columbia. The proposal shall include the following information to be considered: Detailed pricing for the base year and all option years for all services and equipment described below. a. 1000 Wireless phones with combined digital and analog capabilities (tri-band/dual-mode, dual-band/dual-mode); b. complete description of the instrument(s) being offered including capabilities, warranties, replacement policy, and any associated charges; c. accessories for each telephone, to include a carrying case and recharger; d. coverage map showing the total service area and coverage by county and/or district; e. description of the service plans offered and associated fees for the local calling area and any extended calling area; f. charges for prime and non-prime usage over and above the basic plan included minutes, access fees (if applicable) per wireless telephone; g. land line termination charges; and a, h. Sponsored plan for Government employees allowing their personal usage to aggregate with the Government usage for discount purposes. Sponsored employees are responsible for their individual usage.
