The contractor shall subject test-tube quantity samples of hydrolysis mixtures of RDX and HMX from Los Alamos National Laboratory to the University of Florida analytical protocol. The contractor shall observe and monitor the rate of biological conversion of the materials in each sample. The contractor shall observe the rate of biological conversion of a mixture of the two samples. The contractor shall report the results of the investigations and assess the probability of success with larger liter-size samples. The contractor shall provide an assessment of treatment of other energetic materials and combinations with binder and other material associated with unexploded ordnance.
