10 -- WEAPONS-CQB SHOTGUN SOL No solicitation DUE 121799 POC Linda White, Contracting Officer, 410-278-2998/FAX: 410-278-2980 The Research, Development & Acquisition Office, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is seeking to identify potential sources who can provide a shotgun for use in military tactical operations in all environments. It is preferred that the weapon provide a pump or semi-automatic action and have a detachable magazine with a capacity of four (4) rounds or greater. The desired weapon should have a total length from butt stock to muzzle not to exceed 24" and weigh less than four (4) pounds fully loaded. The weapon should also provide a safety device mounted on the gun, but not on the trigger guard. This notice is not to be considered a solicitation; no solicitation exists. All responses received by the government by the response deadline will be reviewed to determine what firms have weapon systems that meet or exceed the foregoing requirement.
