The Defense Supply Service Washington intends to procure on a sole source basis a combination of specialized expertise and technical analyses for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (C3I) and other DoD and U.S. Government agencies to support the oversight of positioning and navigation systems and policy for the U.S. Government from Overlook Systems Technologies, Inc., Vienna, Virginia. Overlook Systems Technology, Inc. has been determined to be the only responsible source. The services to be provided include, but not limited to, system engineering support, technical analyses, studies and policy formulation regarding development, acquisition, and deployment and operations of all DoD positioning and navigation systems. The Facility Clearance required is Top Secret and the Level of Safeguarding required is Secret. The existing contract(DASW01-94-C-0095) expires 31 December 1999. The purpose of this contract is to serve as a bridge vehicle pending the award of the follow-on contract. This procurement is set-aside for small business under SIC 8711. The period of performance for the bridge contract is planned for 01 January 2000 through 31 March 2000 (Base Period) with nine 1 -- month option periods.
