The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement for technical and operational support services of Code 80 Facilities including computer resources, operational support of Computer Operations for Weapons Systems projects and programs, and Automated Information System operation in the Weapons Analysis Facility (WAF) and the Life Cycle Support Facility (LCSF). Tasks include: Weapons' Simulators Operations, Systems Operation and Maintenance, Facilities Management and Administration, Computer Specialist and Technical Services, Automated Information System (AIS) Security, Configuration Management, and Computer Operations Management and Administration. A five (5) year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Services type contract with Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) provisions is anticipated. It is contemplated that Term and Completion task orders will be issued under this contract. Total estimated man-hours for the five (5) year period is 165,960. Key Labor Categories are: Computer Operator III, Simulator Operator II, and Simulator Operator I. Service Contract Act is applicable for some labor categories and the place of performance is unknown. In addition to the wage determination requested for Newport, RI, the Contracting Officer will request wage determinations for additional places or areas of performance if asked to do so in writing by January 13, 2000. The highest level of security classification required for this contract is SECRET. Award will be made on the basis of Best Value, with evaluation factor including Personnel, Past Performance and Cost. This is a follow-on to contract N66604-95-D-A796 with TESCO, Inc.
