E-MAIL: Frank Wargula, Frank.Wargula@sheppard.af.mil. Pallet Conveyor System for 463L pallets. The conveyor system shall consist of gravity roller conveyor lanes and ball transfer conveyors. The conveyor system will be used to store and transfer loaded 463L pallets. The gravity roller lanes consist of three roller sections under each pallet. Ball transfer conveyor shall consist of ball transfer units mounted in a frame. The conveyor system shall allow pallet loads to be manually pushed into, through, and out of the system. Ball transfer conveyor shall allow pallets to be pushed at right angles to the direction of entry into the gravity roller conveyor storage lanes. Ball transfer conveyor and gravity roller conveyor shall be used to transfer and store pallets in the system. The gravity roller and ball transfer conveyor shall inteface with each other to allow for the smooth transfer of pallet loads. The interface gravity roller conveyor lane shall interface with forklifts so pallets may be added or removed from the conveyor system. The Solicitation will beposted on Decmber 1, 1999.
