99 -- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR DINING FACILITY SERVICES AND/OR CATERED MEALS SOL None DUE 113099 POC LTC John M. Dietrich, (317) 247-3310 This Request for Information (RFI) solicits information and interest from the business community which may be used in developing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for providing either dining facility services or catered meals or both for Camp Atterbury, Indiana. This service would be required beginning in January 2000 and could include daily dining facility services for varying periods, weekend only dining facility services, catered meals for groups for varying periods, take-out meals and fluctuating headcounts from 10 to 400 soldiers. A Government furnished dining facility would be available. One to two-week notices of events with an estimated headcount at 72 hours prior is contemplated. A Not-To-Exceed cap of $14.00 per day per soldier (Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner) may occur. Responses should include sample menus with price per meal, type of service, and size of group to be served. The Indiana National Guard is looking for expertise from the Food Service Industry with recommendations for long term solutions. The solicitation may be limited to small businesses with a preference for small disadvantaged businesses and women-owned businesses. Response to this RFI is due by 30 November 1999 and may be sent by FAX, mail, or any written method. Non-response to this Request will not preclude your firm from receiving a Request for Proposal when it is ready for solicitation. Information received after the requested date may be considered if time allows before actual solicitation. Currently NO solicitation exists. This is strictly a Request for Information. This request does not constitute any obligation on behalf of the Government to ever issue a solicitation.
