The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) has a requirement for 100,000 man-hours (20,000/year) of engineering studies, analysis, and technical services in support of experiments for the AN/TPS-59(V)3 Radar and associated equipment. Additionally, there is a requirement for 50,000 man-hours (10,000/year) of engineering and technical services to support AN/TPS-59(V)3/Theater Missile Defense System Exerciser (TMDSE) integration. The period of performance for both of these requirements will commence approximately 01 January 2000 through 31 December 2004 (base year and four (4) option years). This procurement will support air breathing target and missile defense capability research and development for both software and hardware experiments in USMC sensors as well as command and control systems. Technical requirements will include the ability to operate and maintain the Coherent Data Collection System (CDACS), Portable Autonomous Reports Collection System (PARCS 2000R), and the AN/TPS-59 Radar Environmental Simulator (RES). Additionally, the ability to modify existing software/firmware and the ability to reconfigure hardware for experiments on the AN/TPS-59(V)3 Radar to optimize performance in various environments and developmental configurations is required. This solicitation will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Sensis Corporation, 5793 Widewaters Parkway, Dewitt, NY 13214, in accordance with U.S.C.2304(c)(1).
