Krutz, Contracting Officer, (662) 686-5361 The U.S. Department of Agriculture, requires the necessary labor, materials, parts, equipment and supervision necessary to construct an irrigation well at the USDA, ARS, Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center, Stoneville, Mississippi. The work includes but is not limited to; site preparation, 16" diameter well, approx. 80 ft of 16" PVC well casing, approx. 40 ft of 16" PVC well screen, well to be gravel packed with 10' cemented, 150 GPM vertical turbine pump, 16" steel manifold pipeline with 8" dresser couplings, 3" air relief valve and 3" pressure relief valve, approx. 50 ft of 10" x 80 PSI PVC pipe, approx. 900 ft additional 10" x 80 PSI PVC pipe. Diesel power unit must come complete with clutch and all fittings to connect to a W37 flexible shaft. The work will be completed in 60 days. An RFQ will be issued on or about November 29, 1999.
