Project consists of preparation of special technical studies/analyses and design documents to include building and ground alteration, maintenance, repair and minor construction, feasibility and concept studies, material investigation and color studies, cost estimates, preparation of architectural engineering studies/investigation and preparation of architectural and engineering documents and reports for architectural projects with associated structural, civil, landscaping, mechanical, electrical, environmental subsurface soil investigations and incidental work. An indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract will be awarded for a period of one basic year and two option years. Projects will be issued to the contractor as individual delivery orders. Cumulative amount of all delivery orders will not exceed $165,000.00 per year. SIC Code is 8711. Firms must maintain a staffed local office within the seven county Mpls-St Paul metropolitan area. Selection will be based upon the following criteria that are numbered in order of importance: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, including, where appropriate, experience in energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction and the use of recovered materials (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time (4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; (6) Volume of previous DoD awards during the last twelve months with the objective being to effect equitable distribution of contracts among those qualified.
