(i) This is an amendment to the combined synopsis/solicitation DCA200-00-T-5006 to clarify what is required and include brand name or equal part number, change the RFQ to set it aside 100% for small business, change the delivery schedule, and provide a website for download of required FAR/DFARS clauses. The required due date for proposals remains 22 Nov 99. (ii) DCA200-00-T-5006, amendment 0001. (iii) The RFQ document, amendment, and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-13 and DAC 91-13. (iv) SIC Code 4813, Telephone Communications, Size Standard, 1500 employees. This RFQ is amended to be set-aside 100% for small business concerns. (v) CLIN 0001, Radio Batteries in accordance with specification stated in paragraph (vi), 2500 Each. (vi) Two way Radio Batteries that will fit the Motorola Saber II, Systems Saber, and Astro Saber Radios (Motorola Battery part number NTN4595, brand name or equal). The battery form and fit must be sound when the battery attaches to the radioand must not interfere with operation when the radio is used with the belt clip. At the Government's discretion, the apparent low offerer may be asked to submit one battery for review and acceptance prior to placement of the entire order. (vii) FOB Destination. (viii) The following FAR clauses or provisions apply: 52.212-1; 52.212-2, (a) Award shall be made to the lowest price offer that complies with all requirements of this quote; 52.212-4; 52.212-5, (b) 52.203-6, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37; 52.233-3, and 52.232-33. (ix) The following DFARS clauses apply: 252.212-7001, (b): 252.225-7001 and 252.247-7024; 252.204-7004. (x) Quotes shall include completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000, 252.225-7000 and 252.247-7022. "Year 2000 compliant" means, with respect to information technology, that the information technology accurately processes date/time data (including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing, and sequencing) from, into, and between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, and the years 1999 and 2000 and leap year calculations, to the extent that other information technology, used in combination with the information technology being acquired, properly exchanges date/time data with it. (b) To ensure Year 2000 compliance, the contractor shall, at a minimum, test a representative sampling of the information technology, or same type of information technology, that will be provided under the contract. Testing will be accomplished and documented in accordance with generally accepted commercial standards/practices. If requested, the contractor shall provide the Government with a copy of such Year 2000 compliance test documentation at no additional cost to the Government. (xii) DPAS, N/A.
