Furnish porta-potties (14 standard and 1 handicapped) and 3 holding
tanks (250 gallons each) for the Bureau of Reclamation, Hoover Dam,
Boulder City, Clark County, Nevada and Mohave County, Arizona for 5 to
7 months, from approximately December 1, 1999 through June 30, 1999
(Phase 1). Service three times a week will be required for all the
porta-potties and 1 holding tank. Service twice a week will be required
for 2 of the holding tanks. The 13 porta-potties will be located at the
Arizona spillway and 1 porta-potty will be located at the canoe launch.
The contractor shall provide all supplies, delivery, pick up,
servicing, and transporting and disposing of contents for the
porta-potties. The 3 holding tanks are located at various locations at
Hoover Dam, 2 of the tanks are for waste and 1 tank is for water from
cleaning mops. The contractor shall transport and dispose of the
contents of the 3 holding tanks in accordance with all Federal, state,
and local rules, laws, and regulations. Phase 2 requirements: Furnish
1 porta-potty and 3 holding tanks (250 gallons each). The performance
period will begin after Phase 1 is finished and will run through
September 30, 2000. The 1 porta-potty will be located at the canoe
launch. Service will be required three times a week for the 1
porta-potty and 1 holding tank. Service twice a week will be required
for 2 holding tanks. The Phase 2 requirements for the 1 porta-potty and
3 holding tanks remain the same as the Phase 1 requirements. A Request
for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued for this acquisition. Simplified
Acquisition Procedures will be utilized for this acquisition.
Anticipated issue date of the RFQ is November 19, 1999 and the
anticipated award date is November 29, 1999. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL
BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code
for this acquisition is 7359 and the small business size standard is $5
million average annual receipts for an offeror's preceding 3 fiscal
