This involves the exchange of policy-level officials, institute heads, scientists and other experts from many countries, including a number of developing countries. Regulations issued by the United States Information Agency (USIA) 22 CFR Part 514, Exchange Visitor Program, (Final Rule) require sponsoring U.S. Government agencies to assure insurance coverage for health care, accidents, and repatriation, if required.
