This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format is Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is SP0600-98-R-0114-0001 and is issued as a Request for Proposal. The time and date established for receipt of offers is 3:00 p.m., local Fort Belvoir, VA time, November 25, 1999. Bids may be faxed to 703-767-8506, attention: DESC Bid Custodian. The following line item is solicited: 115-751, MGO, NSN 9140-01-313-7776, Pearl Harbor, HI, Barge delivery within port area, minimum quantity per order is 20,000 gallons; grids A 20,000 -- 1,300,000, B 1,300,001 -- and up. Delivery period is date of award through April 30, 2001.
