intends to enter into a ninety (90) day firm fixed requirements type
contract for machinery FOB Destination FCI Englewood, CO. Item 0001 --
Chair test equipment for ANSI/BlFMA X5.1 requirements. Multitesting
machine for the following tests: Back strength, Static, Drop dynamic,
Tilt Mechanism, Cyclic, Seating impact, Cyclic, Arm strength Vertical
static, Arm strength, Horizontal, Static, Back durability, Cyclic, Leg
strength, Footrest durability vertical, Seat and back fatigue (also
synchronized) Swivel cylic, Caster/chair base durability cylic The
control panel keyboard enables all test parameters to be adjusted in
order to carry out tests correctly and precisely. The control panel
includes a keyboard & screen, software-windows 95 Annual Machine. All
machines are built conforming to international safety standards. All
doors must have safety switch, if opened when a test is under way,
machine will automatically stop. In case of power lost, all data is
saved, downloaded from PLC to the PC. Compressed air:min 1OOPSI-max
140PSI. Voltage 11Ov. Both machines are delivered with manual of
instructions in English with a trouble shooting guide. Annual Machine
Calibration. Semi-Annual Service. Two days of training on site with
equipment already installed. One (1) Software update per year. Example
of some accessories: Set of five zinked steel blocks for base test.

(sliding) of mm300 and fast locking the backrest ia cylinder. Pneumatic
unit with two magnetic air cylinders with metal pads to test arms
sideways (synchronous/asynchronous and timed) individual and
simultaneous. seat pad can be fixed or move mm150 from seat center to
seat front edge. Quantity: One (1), U/I: Each. Period of performance is
date of award through 90 days thereafter. Delivery acceptance is 90
days after receipt of delivery order from FCI Englewood. This equipment
is being installed inside a Federal Prison therefore, additional time
may be required when entering and exiting the facility, approximately
1.5 hours per day. Background investigations are required for all
individuals being in the institutions more than two (2) days. Offerors
are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and make
award on an all or none basis to the offeror offering the best value to
the government. All offerors shall provide descriptive literature of
the machine they offering. The descriptive literature shall be part of
proposal. Additional information will be provided in solicitation
document. All responsible offerors may submit an offer which will be
